I was so excited when I found these really great backpacks at my local IKEA store.
I'd been searching for a backpack that was lightweight, high quality, and side pockets without flaps.
Plus, these were affordable.
I immediately grabbed a handful and purchased.
I couldn't wait to get to work on customizing them and making my backpack a statement piece that reflected my love for art.
The fabric marker's I reviewed on Tuesday worked perfectly on the canvas material.
I started by drawing some lines, adding some half circles, petal shapes, etc.
It was so much fun and I love the way they look.
Yay! Love this, what a wonderful inspiring idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran: I'm happy to hear you like the backpacks. I use it everyday. Most people assume that I just purchased it this way. Which I take as a huge compliment. I painted five of them, so far. I'm going to put some up for sale soon. Thank you for your comment and for visiting my blog.

ReplyDeleteI am loving my backpack, it's wonderfully roomy. It is made very well and feels very sturdy. It's holding up beautifully and for the price you can't beat it. I'm going to be selling some of the ones I did in my etsy store as soon as it goes live. I hope you've added your name to my mailing list so you can follow me.
